Eclipse Fundraising Events with Wyoming Stargazing!
Stargaze in Style with a NASA Astronaut!
Saturday, August 19th!
Escape the enormous crowds during eclipse weekend and party with Wyoming Stargazing for our exclusive fundraising event capped at just 250 people on the Summit of Snow King Mountain. On the night of Saturday, August 19th Wyoming Stargazing is hosting a star party like you have never experienced before! All the proceeds will go to support the year-round public stargazing programs we offer, our work to promote dark skies in Jackson Hole, and our plans to build a public observatory and planetarium in Jackson Hole!
Ride the scenic chair lift up to Snow King Summit.
Enjoy a galactic menu and wine and beer bar by Bistro Catering. Listen to live music with Tasha and the Goodfellows and get an autographed picture with NASA Astronaut Scott Altman.
Be mesmerized by an alluring presentation from author and astrobiologist Dr. David Grinspoon on life in the Universe and the eclipse
Stand under the stars with astronomy educators from Wyoming Stargazing and the valley's best views of Jupiter, Saturn, star clusters, nebulae, and far off galaxies. During this time we'll also have a special dedication to our new, outdoor, inflatable planetarium, The Dark Sky Pavilion, featuring its first space show, Dark Universe, narrated by Neil deGrasse Tyson.
