Limit Lighting
All single outdoor bulbs (or collection of bulbs such as string lights) emit no more than 2,000 lumens (lm) each (not to exceed 10,000 lumens for the entire property).

All outdoor lights use automatic lighting controls such as a motion sensor or a smart timer/dimmer switch/plug so that they are only used as much as and only when they are needed.

Use Shielding
All outdoor lights (with the exception of string lights which need to be dimmed to 30% or less of their original lumen output and extinguished 2 hours after sunset until 1 hour before sunrise) are fully shielded so that all the light points down to the ground.

Make it Safe for Wildlife
All outdoor lights have a Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) of 3000K or less.

Keep it Close
No direct outdoor light extends beyond property lines.
